The guide service contract is a direct agreement between you and the guide introduced by our company. Therefore, please agree on the cancellation terms directly with the guide. There are no cancellation fees for our introduction service.
If no cancellation terms have been agreed upon between you and the guide, and our company has been entrusted by the guide to collect payment on their behalf, the following cancellation terms will apply.
Any cancellation by you must be initiated by telephone to us at +81-80-7792 1950 OR by email to t.oka@searchguides.jp. We will acknowledge your cancellation by email.
If you cancel booking that only includes the guiding service more than two weeks before the commencement of the service to be provided to you, we will refund the deposit in full amount less payment service company’s 5% charges to you. No refunds if you cancel on or less than two weeks before the commencement of the services to be provided to you. (So, if the service is planned on Friday in Japan, the deadline for the refund is Friday 00:00 AM two weeks prior, Japan time.)
If you cancel a booking that includes extras such as food, transport, tickets to attractions, etc., we will refund the guiding fee to you as mentioned above. But we will deduct cancellation fee and no-refundable portion for the extras such as food, transportation, tickets to attractions, etc. which we have already ordered on your behalf (we do our best to refund extras as much as possible, though).
If we cancel your booking after you receive our booking confirmation, for any reason, we will refund 100% of the deposit (We owe all money transfer expenses) and all the costs for extras, if any, to you in full.
